According to CBS Sports, the top two Oklahoma Sooners are quarterback Sam Bradford and offensive guard Duke Robinson, whom The Eye picked as midseason All-Americans. Robinson is indeed the consensus best OG in college football. At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, he’s a superb technician with decent balance and mobility for a big man. The Duke gets an A+ and extra credit for being related to Smokey Robinson.

LSU’s Herman Johnson is even bigger at 6-foot-7 and 386 pounds, the largest man ever to play for the Tigers. He also lines up in the backfield now and then on short-yardage situations. We give Big Herm an A because we’re picky about his relative lack of speed.

Wisconsin’s Kraig Urbik and Andy Kemp aren’t the reason the Badgers are losing, but we still have to downgrade them to B- for allowing seven sacks apiece on quarterbacks Allan Evridge and Dustin Sherer.

Think you know who will be the top college football player at the end of the year? Bet on the Heisman winner in the Bodog Sportsbook.
