The MAC gets the college football weekend started early with Friday night’s matchup between the Buffalo Bulls (6-4 SU, 6-3 ATS) and the Bowling Green Falcons (5-5 SU, 6-3 ATS). (Buffalo Bulls Image)

These are two of the teams who have made the MAC a handicapper’s dream conference, but only one can grab the cash – Bowling Green is a 3.5-point favorite.

Although Buffalo has the better SU record, Bowling Green has a +32 point differential on the season compared to +26 for the Bulls. Two of Buffalo’s wins came in overtime against Army (+10.5) and Akron (-2.5). The Falcons (+14) beat Pitt 27-17 in their season opener; the Bulls (+13) lost 27-16 one week later, both games taking place at Heinz Field.

The Falcons have won this matchup four years in a row at 2-2 ATS. Last year, they jumped on Buffalo 31-17 as 1-point road dogs. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Eastern.
