Oregon looks to take out the surging Golden Bears.

Oregon is presented with a golden opportunity to get back into the national rankings when it faces No. 6 California on Saturday. The college football line has the Ducks priced at +6.

Both Oregon and Cal started the season as contenders to knock off USC in the Pac-10, but it’s been the Bears who’ve made inroads.

California is 3-0 (3-0 ATS) heading into its battle with Oregon, which is dealing with the public perception aftershock of losing at Boise State in its opener.

The Bears’ biggest win this season came last week at Minnesota, so they’re not as battle tested as the Ducks. Oregon (-3.5) defeated Utah 31-24 last week.

Cal (-2.5) won 26-16 when the schools met at Memorial Stadium last year, and 31-24 as 6.5-point pups two years ago in Eugene.
