The Miami Hurricanes return to conference play for the first time in nearly a month Saturday when they host the Clemson Tigers

If you are making college football picks this week, oddsmakers are siding with the Hurricanes as they are listed as 5.5-point favorites.

In Saturday’s 27-7 victory over Central Florida, Hurricanes quarterback Jacory Harris completed 20 of 26 pass attempts for 293 yards and a touchdown, but he was sacked a season-high six times.

He’ll have to get rid of the ball quick Saturday, when he faces a Clemson team that is 11th in total defense in the Football Bowl Subdivision and has more sacks this season than in 2008.

In the teams’ last meeting, Miami defeated Clemson 36-30 in triple overtime on Sept. 17, 2005.

The Tigers defeated the Hurricanes 24-17 in overtime on Nov. 6, 2004 in the most recent matchup in Miami.
