College Football Picks: Fresno State at UCLA

The UCLA Bruins have fallen down, and they can’t get up. They’ve played one good half all season, in their opening win against Tennessee. Since then, UCLA has been outscored 90-10, by BYU and Arizona. How bad will things get on Saturday when No. 24 Fresno State comes to the Rose Bowl?

Actually, the Bulldogs (2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS) don’t really belong in the Top 25, and they might not get to hang onto that ranking after needing overtime to down Toledo 55-54. Beating Rutgers (-3.5) 24-7 on the road doesn’t look so impressive anymore, either, after the Scarlet Knights lost their next two games.

But UCLA (1-2 SU and ATS) is in dire straits. The offense hasn’t scored a touchdown in two games. Coach Rick Neuheisel and co-ordinator Norm Chow both used the “we are who we are” refrain after losing at home to Arizona, and Neuheisel thanked the fans for not booing. I’ll gladly take Fresno State instead. Get all your NCAA College Football Picks in the Bodog Sportsbook today!
