Jan "The Giant" Nortje beat Bob Sapp in under a minute in the main event of Bodog Fight presents Strikeforce at The Dome.

Saturday, Feb. 23 in Tacoma, Wash, "The Giant" defeated "The Beast" as South African Jan Nortje beat Bob Sapp in the main event of Bodog Fight presents Strikeforce at The Dome.

Sapp rushed across the cage immediately after the opening bell, looking to drive Nortje into the fence, but "The Giant" showed good movement ability and managed to stay off the fence, hitting Sapp with a series of hard punches. A pair of jabs caught Sapp square and sent him reeling to the canvas. Nortje pounced on his fallen opponent at, at 55-seconds into the round, was declared the winner by TKO.

While Nortje pulled off the upset victory in the main event, Rick "The Jet" Roufus was not able to shed his underdog status in his MMA debut. Facing former UFC champion Maurice Smith, "The Jet" was quickly grounded and finished with an armlock submission.

Other winners were lightweight Jorge Masvidal, Washington fighter Eddie Ellis and Cory "The One" Devela, who impressed hometown fans by defeating UFC veteran Joe Riggs.
