The Chicago Cubs aren't going to let the Milwaukee Brewers get in the way of their championship aspirations. A day after Milwaukee grabbed Cleveland ace C.C. Sabathia the Cubs grabbed oft-injured but talented pitcher Rich Harden.

The Cubs will receive Harden and Chad Gaudin for pitcher Sean Gallagher, outfielders Matt Murton and Eric Patterson, and minor leaguer John Donaldson.

Harden has had his best season in years, going 5-1 with a 2.34 ERA in 13 starts. However, he's had six trips to the DL in six years.
