When word broke that Deron Williams was to miss the first two weeks of the NBA season with a sprained left ankle Jazz fans had reason to worry.
Now, just under two weeks into the young season, that estimation has been discounted. On Saturday it was announced that the point guard will miss four-to-six weeks, making it that much harder for the undefeated Jazz to keep up their torrid pace.
With the news Williams can say good bye to any hopes he had of participating in Utah's forthcoming five-game road streak.
The three-headed big man monster of Carlos Boozer, Mehmet Okur and Andrei Kirilenko will have to continue to shoulder the load.
