Doug Collins coached Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the middle of the 80s before being replaced by his assistant Phil Jackson. Now he's back where his coaching career started.

According to reports, Collins is leaving the TNT booth to coach the Chicago Bulls, who hold the No. 1 pick in this year's NBA draft.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Collins already said he had "no interest" in coaching again, but apparently the lure of having a talented rookie like Michael Beasley or Derrick Rose was too good to pass up.

I'm putting the over/under at 2.5 years for Collins to be fired and back in the TNT announcer's booth.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to close out the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 6 p.m. ET. Get your NBA odds in the Bodog Sportsbook!
