Already reeling from the loss of WR Kevin Curtis to a sports hernia, the Philadelphia Eagles receiving corps took another blow Friday when Reggie Brown missed his second consecutive practice.

Brown has been sidelined since straining his left hamstring in the second preseason game against Carolina. He took part in individual drills on Wednesday, but sat out the next two practices and is doubtful for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Last season, brown hauled in 61 catches for 780 yards and four TDs. He was firmly entrenched behind Curtis as the Eagles' No. 2 receiver and has developed a solid rapport with Donovan McNabb.

Head coach Andy Reid said the Eagles would employ a receiver-by-committee approach. Rookie DeSean Jackson, Greg Lewis, Hank Baskett and Jason Avant will rotate at the two spots.
