As suspected, Los Angeles Angles right handed reliever Francisco Rodriguez will sit out at least three or four days to try and heal his ailing ankles.

Rodriguez has seen the velocity on his fastball drop substantially and despite starting the season with three quality saves before giving up three runs against the Cleveland Indians on April 7.

Fantasy Baseball players will want to look closely at Angel options that include Scot Shields and Justin Speier.

Speir looked to be cruising during his first shot at closing duties before giving up a game winning two run shot to slugger Travis Hafner.

As for F-Rods future? Angels manager Mike Mike Scioscia says the team is optimistic, but in no rush.

"We're concerned about how it will influence his delivery and the stress on his arm. This thing will heal, but we don't want to put him at any undue risk."
