Fantasy Football Tips for First Timers

One of the biggest rookie mistakes when playing fantasy football is putting all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. If it is based on salary or so many points to use to draft, don't use everything up to pick one guy.

Spread it around a little and try to build a much more balanced team.

It really does not matter if you have the best player in the NFL if the rest of your team does nothing for you.

Another trap to avoid is going with players that you are fans of, or players on your favorite team. Sure it makes it fun to root for them, but it won't get you to the top unless you happen to cheer for the best team in the NFL.

If you had all of the main weapons of the New England Patriots, that would be a different story.
