Former Boston Celtic Chris Herren Faces Drug Charges

Former NBA player Chris Herren is facing drug charges after police found him passed out on his steering wheel after hitting a utility pole.

Herren played with the played with the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets from 1999 to 2001.

The officers who responded to the crash saw a hybodermic needle and a small blue bag of heroin in the car.

Herron was transported to the hospital after police discovered him.
