You know the mail room guy who called in sick today? Yeah, well, he's not really sick. He's just at home building his virtual fantasy franchise in the latest installment of most successful sports video game of all time – Madden '09.

The game has gotten so big that a special "Maddenpalooza" was held yesterday in Pasedena. The festival included performances from Busta Rhymes and Good Charlotte, over 300 gaming stations and several huge pictures of Brett Favre. Favre, as you might've heard, originally appeared on the cover in a Green Bay Packers uniform. Since his trade to the New York Jets came after the cover printing process had happened, EA scrambled to come up with a solution. Now, fans can download a printable cover of Favre in a Jets uniform and slide it into their freshly-purchased game. And everything will be right with the world.
