Henderson and Silva Make Weight for Fight at UFC 82

Fighters competing in UFC 82: Pride of a Champion, March 1 in Columbus, Ohio, have all made weight.

For the main event, Pride champion Dan Henderson (22-6-0) came in half a pound under the 185-pound limit, at 184.5 pounds. UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva (22-4-0) meanwhile, came in at 185-pounds exactly.

Fighting on a heavyweight match on the undercard, French striking expert Cheick Kongo (21-3-1) weighed 233.5 pounds, while opponent Heath "Texas Crazy Horse" Herring (27-13-1) was 248-pounds.

Former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner (32-6-0) was also 185-pounds. Tanner has been away from the octagon for nearly 2 years, but hopes to have a winning comeback on Saturday night againt Japanese grappling master Yushin Okami (20-4-0). Okami weighed 184.5-pounds.
