Have you heard critics say that the Home Run Derby is boring and drags on for far too long?

An easy way to change that is to just bring Josh Hamilton back every year.

The Texas Rangers outfielder put on a must-see display of jaw-dropping power last yeart, making 500-foot home runs seem routine. He finished with a record-setting 28 bombs in the first round and ripped four more for fun in the second round before he faded in a 5-3 loss to Canadian Justin Morneau in the final.

Ryan Howard, Adrian Gonzalez, Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder, Joe Mauer, Nelson Cruz, Carlos Pena, and Brandon Inge will all be trying to add a Derby title to their trophy case this year.

For Howard, he will be looking to win again, as he was the champ in 2006.

He still has a long way to go to equal Ken Griffey Jr., who has won three times.
