The last two days have been nothing short of insane for NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, who is speculated to have overdosed on sleeping pills.
Though contrasting reports have muddied what really occurred reports have shown a variety of outcomes ranging from Thomas' death (false), to it not being Thomas at all, but rather his daughter.
When interviewed following the incident Thomas claimed that it was his daughter who had been taken to the hospital and that it was not as the result of an overdose, but Harrison Police Chief David Hall is calling shenanigans.
"I understand that this person claims it was his daughter; he is lying," Hall told The Times. "It was definitely not his daughter, it was a male. We know the difference between a 47-year-old black male and a young black female."
The incident is just the latest in a long line of bizarre happenings for the former Detroit Pistons, but more recently lousy New York Knicks general manager.
After a lengthy trial regarding wrongful termination of Knicks employee, Thomas has since lost his job with the team and essentially fallen off the NBA radar.
More details regarding what exactly happened at the hospital are sure to follow.
