After years amongst the NHL's elite goal scorers, 36-year-old Jaromir Jagr may very well be done playing professionally in America.

On Friday it was announced that Jagr has signed a two-year deal with Russian club Avangard Omsk the same team he played for during the 2004-05 lockout.

Initially speculation in the media suggested that the deal would pay Jagr $35M for his two years of service but the right-winger himself then went on record to say the deal is for $5M annually.

Assuming that this is the end of Jagr's NHL career he retires with the NHL record for points scored by a European (1599) and consecutive 70+ point seasons (16) amongst many, many others.
