It's 1993 all over again!

With a solid group of talent but another sub .500 start (35-39), the Toronto Blue Jays have decided to shake up their coaching staff by firing manager John Gibbons and most of the coaching staff and re-hiring former Jays manager Cito Gaston.

The Jays haven't been in the postseason since 1993, conveniently when Gaston managed the Jays.

Although Gaston is considered a Jays legend, bringing Toronto back-to-back titles while coaching from 1989-1997, he hasn't coached another team since.
