The right-handed pitcher got sick on Monday and has been receiving treatment since. His locker has been unoccupied and it was four hours before the first pitch.
Lincecum is 11-2 in his second year with the Giants, and leads the major leagues with 135 strikeouts along with a 2.57 ERA.
