LSU Defeats Ole Miss 41-24

Matt Flynn threw for 168 yards and scored a rushing touchdown as top-ranked LSU held off Ole Miss, 41-24, at Vaught- Hemingway Stadium.

Flynn completed 17-of-25 passes and ran for 14 yards for the Tigers, who have won four straight and earned a spot in the SEC Championship Game as the West Division representative.

Early Doucet had eight receptions for 58 yards while Jacob Hester and Charles Scott each rushed for a touchdown for LSU, which ends the regular season next week against Arkansas.

Seth Adams started the game behind center for Ole Miss and struggled, completing just 4-of-11 passes for 57 yards with an interception.

Brent Schaeffer took over in the second half and ran for 94 yards with a touchdown to go along with 208 yards passing, one score and two interceptions.
