Major League Baseball All-Star Starters Announced

The results are in for the 2008 MLB All-Star Game rosters and they boast a number of stars both young and old.

Familiar faces Alex Rodriguez, Ichiro Suzuki and Chipper Jones will take the field for their respective league's while a handful of the game's youngest generation will represent as well.

Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Braun and Josh Hamilton are just a few of the first-time All-Stars set to play in the July 15th showdown.

A record 214.7M votes were cast in the deciding of this year's lineups, and when the dust settled, four Boston Red Sox snuck their way onto the American League team (an injured David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Kevin Youkillis and Dustin Pedroia).

Three Chicago Cubs will suit up for the National League (Alfonso Soriano, Kosuke Fukudome, Geovany Soto).

The game, to be held in Yankee Stadium, will feature starting pitchers Cliff Lee and Brandon Webb.
