Mark Madden Fired by ESPN for Ted Kennedy Comments

Pittsburgh-area sports radio host Mark Madden is an idiot. And it looks like ESPN has figured that out.

He's been fired by ESPN radio for saying that he hoped Senator Ted Kennedy "would live long enough to be assassinated."

"I'm very disappointed to hear that Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts is near death because of a brain tumor. I always hoped Senator Kennedy would live long enough to be assassinated," Madden said on his ESPN Radio 1250 talk show, according to the Post-Gazette.

Kennedy was diagnosed with a severe brain tumor last week.

    Yep….Mark Madden is an idiot, for sure.

    But so is Ted Kennedy. Nobody deserves to get cancer. Ted's family power protected him when he drove that woman into a lake and left her to die. He should have been tried for involuntary manslaughter, but he got off the hook because he is a Kennedy.

    Then, the fools in MA keep him in office. He's a low life. Mark Madden has said worse things, and more stupid things. I'm not highly disappointed that he is gone.

    But Ted Kennedy is still an idiot too, so they are good company for each other.

    Mark Madden fired from ESPN radio1250. The real reason Mark was fired is because his show and personality has become stale. His rating were deceptive and gilded. He has had the same audience for years with little notable growth. His self proclaimed psycometrics are laughable. The only thing consistent in his life is that he has been fired from every job he has ever had! Enjoy the unemployment line and your "hockey without ice" career? Enjoy the unemployment line while you are at it!
