NBA fans will get an early look at No. 2 overall pick Michael Beasley in the Orlando Summer League.

"I'm going to play until my chest caves in," the forward said. He'll be wearing a chest protector beneath his uniform.

There was concern he wouldn't be able to compete in the league since he fractured his sternum during his first session of summer camp. He'll be facing Chicago Bulls No. 1 pick Derrick Rose in his first Summer League game on Monday.

"If I get hit, it's going to hurt," he said. "I ain't playing not to get hurt.

"I feel it in everything I do, but I ain't gonna be soft about it, I ain't gonna baby it. That's going to make it worse."

You can't bet on the Summer League games but you can't place NBA futures right now in the Bodog Sportsbook!
