After winning his first Super Bowl in February, Michael Strahan has decided to call it quits.

The gap-toothed defensive end finishes his career with 854 total tackles, 141.5 sacks, and the singles-season sack record (22.5).

Strahan considered retiring from the NFL last season as he has had many opportunities for work on television. But he decided to come back and went on to grab the last thing that eluded him in his NFL career.

He'll be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in five years and will likely get in on the first ballot.
