Miss the Rings

putin-kraft.jpgNew England Patriots owner Robert Kraft went to Russia last week – and he may be coming home one Superbowl ring lighter.

Following a meeting of American business executives and president Vladimir Putin at Konstantinovsky Palace near St. Petersburg on Saturday, Kraft showed the 2005 championship ring to Putin — who tried it on, put it in his pocket and left, said Russian news reports.

The issue remains whether the ring – which contains 124 diamonds – was intended as a gift for Putin, or a really, really big misunderstanding.
