Bronson Arroyo tries to build off one of his best starts of the season and help the Cincinnati Reds win back-to-back games in St. Louis for the first time in three years when the Reds continue their four-game series against the Cardinals tonight.

On Wednesday, Arroyo allowed one run, four singles, a double and one walk in a 6-1 win at Houston for his first complete game of the season.

Arroyo, who is 4-1 with a 3.06 ERA in five road starts this season, is 2-2 with a 5.00 ERA in seven career starts at Busch Stadium.

St. Louis' Brad Thompson is set to make his first start of the season, taking the place in the rotation of the injured Joel Pineiro, who has back spasms.

The Reds are only 16-36 in the last 52 meetings in St. Louis. Get your baseball odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
