Ryan Theriot and the Chicago Cubs look to extend their season-high winning streak to five games this afternoon when they take on Tim Lincecum and the San Francisco Giants in the finale of a two-game series at Wrigley Field.

Theriot entered the month with seven career homers and has never hit more than three in a season. His first career grand slam in a win over Florida on Friday ended a streak of 620 at-bats without a home run.

The Cubs could have a hard time continuing their offensive surge against Lincecum. After a shaky start, the righthander has struck out 33 in 23 innings while allowing just four runs and 16 hits in those three appearances.

But for Lincecum's pitching to stand up, San Francisco (-115 favorites) may need more from its offense. Though they've split their last four games, the Giants have only totaled seven runs and batted .195.
