The San Francisco Giants have totaled six hits in each of the first two games of this series, both 2-1 losses. The Giants were 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position on Wednesday.

While that type of offense does not lead to winning baseball games, Lincecum is the type of pitcher that can make low run totals stand up, especially against San Diego.

The righthander is 3-2 with a 1.45 ERA in nine career starts against the Padres, and the Giants have gone 7-2.

The Padres are in position to record consecutive sweeps of at least three games for the first time since 2007.

Kevin Correia will make his first career appearance against San Francisco, where he spent his first six major league seasons. Get your baseball odds with Bodog today.
