Mike Pelfrey is winless in his last three starts but has pitched well in that span, going 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA. The Mets have given him one run of support in that stretch.

New York is 6-2 in the righthander's starts this season, and he's given up three runs or fewer in each of his last six outings.

The -175 favored Mets, though, haven't enjoyed that kind of success in Pelfrey's outings versus Florida. He beat the Marlins in 2006, but has gone 0-5 against them since.

The Mets will get their first look at Florida's Sean West, who will make his second major league start. West yielded two runs over five innings Saturday in a 10-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
