MLB Baseball Odds: Phillies at Cardinals

After both teams had their last games postponed, Joe Blanton and the Philadelphia Phillies look to keep the St. Louis Cardinals' potent lineup in check in the opener of a two-game set tonight. (AP Images)

Blanton, scheduled to start against New York on Sunday before the game was postponed due to rain, will face St. Louis. The righthander took a step back in his last outing after two straight effective starts.

He gave up six runs and eight hits in Philadelphia's 13-11 win over Washington last Monday.
Philadelphia is averaging 7.1 runs in its last eight games, going 6-2.

Tonight they will face Kyle Lohse, who's trying to open a season 4-0 for the first time in his nine-year career.
