The Colorado Rockies will try to end a four-game losing streak to the San Francisco Giants and restore a 4 1/2-game cushion for the wild card as the NL West rivals continue their three-game set tonight.

The Rockies have lost six of seven at San Francisco this year and have fallen to 7-9 in the season series. The Giants can clinch the season series with one more win, a tiebreaker that would determine which team would get to host a possible one-game playoff for the wild card.

Rockies starter Ubaldo Jimenez will pitch for the first time since he surrendered three runs over six innings Sept. 7.

Jimenez is 7-1 with a 2.60 ERA in 11 outings since the All-Star break.

Barry Zito will oppose him for San Francisco. The lefthander is 3-2 with a 1.92 ERA in 10 career starts against the Rockies.
