The White Sox, on the other hand, are leading the AL Central with a 1.5-game cushion over the Minnesota Twins. Boston is leading the AL Wild Card race by six games, so it looks like it is all or nothing for the White Sox, as if they do not win their division they will be watching the playoffs from their houses.

The Yankees are 4-6 in their last 10 games, and in the second half of the season have not been playing like the team that has the highest payroll in the league. The White Sox are not the best road team in baseball (32-39), but the Yankees are not great at home, as they are actually under .500 (37-38) at the House That Ruth Built.
