Grade B+: Detroit is 27-13 at home, its best 40-game start since 1984. They are listed at +1500 to win the World Series. The Tigers are 38-11 when they score four runs or more.

Grade C+: Despite Mark Buehrle giving up eight runs and 10 hits in 3 1-3 innings on Sunday, the Chicago White Sox have been playing good ball. The Sox have lost 11 of 13 in the Metrodome going back to 2007.

Grade C+: The Minnesota Twins took two of three from the White Sox heading into the All-Star break and could make a move in the second half.

Grade D-: The Kansas City Royals continue to score a lot of runs but also continue to lose. Who knows how bad they would be without Zack Greinke?

Grade F: Cleveland has lost 11 of its last 16 games and 19 of 26. The Indians enter the break 14 games behind first-place Detroit.
