Even though the Boston Red Sox are the Wild Card team, they seem to be everyone's consensus pick to capture the AL Pennant. The BoSox began their series with the Los Angeles Angels listed at +150 to win the AL, while the Angels – coming off a 100-win season – were pegged as +220 faves. 

After one game of the series it looks like the oddsmakers know what they are talking about. The Red Sox keep doing what they do best in October and have now beaten the Angels 10 straight times in the playoffs. 

As for those other AL favorites, the Tampa Bay Rays (+175 to win), they started off their series with the Chicago White Sox (+500) with a 6-4 win to capture their first postseason victory ever.

The White Sox will turn to Mark Buehrle tonight to try to avoid going down 2-0 and keep their long shot hopes alive.
