First it was David "Tank" Abbott (9-13-0). Then it was Mike Bourke (8-11-1). Now, the opponent for internet street-fighting sensation Kimbo Slice (1-0-0) has changed again.

Slice was originally scheduled to face "Tank" in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships, but when the show fell apart over lost financing, the matchmakers at Elite XC were quick to step in and scoop up the hard-hitting Youtube.com legend. Unable to secure the services of his original opponent, they matched Slice against Bourke instead. Now, due to a shoulder injury sustained in training, Bourke is unable to fight. Assuming the third time is a charm, Slice will now fight Bo Cantrell (10-10-0) at Elite XC on Nov. 10 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Although Cantrell has a win over Bourke, he is coming off four losses in a row, including a choke submission loss to UFC fighter Brad Imes (9-3-0)

"We tried all the way through Monday to get [Bourke] medically well," Shaw told MMAweekly.com. "We don't want to put anybody in a fight that is not medically able to fight … we have now signed Bo Cantrell."
