The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Sunday's Allstate 400 at The Brickyard. The event is the only Cup race there this season, and Jimmie Johnson is the defending race winner.

But currently Johnson (+450 to win Sunday) has some work to do to climb to the top of the standings.

That is where you will find Tony Stewart sitting with 2,884 points, just ahead of Jeff Gordon (2,709) and Johnson at 2,672.

Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Carl Edwards are fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively, but could easily jump spots with a win on Sunday.

Stewart's run this year has been nothing short of exceptional, and Sunday's race is one of the benchmarks of his season. He has two wins at Indy so he knows how to survive there, making him one of the favorites.

Can Stewart, listed at +500 to win, keep his spot on top?
