Kyle Busch is going to fight to the end based on his performance Saturday night.
With two races to go before the 12-driver field is set, Busch trails 12th-place driver Matt Kenseth by just 34 points.
Tony Stewart, listed at +200 to win the Sprint Championship, is still on top on the list with 3564 points. He is followed by Jimmie Johnson, who has 3344 points. Johnson finished in eighth place on Saturday.
Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, and Carl Edwards round out the top five.
Kurt Busch sits in sixth place with 3103 points, well ahead of Ryan Newman and Greg Biffle.
Juan Montoya dropped two places on Saturday and now sits in ninth.
Mark Martin, who was clinging to a 12-point hold on the final Chase position, left Bristol up two spots to 10th.
The next race is in two weeks at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Pep Boys Auto 500.
