The Dallas Mavericks, meanwhile, are hoping a victory will vault them into the sixth seed.

Yao Ming returned after missing a game with a bone bruise in his right foot to score a game-high 22 points in the Rockets' 86-66 win over visiting New Orleans on Monday. That is good news for Houston backers as the postseason nears.

The Mavericks, who are looking to win 50 games for a ninth straight season, can still finish as high as sixth, but it'll take a win and a New Orleans loss to San Antonio.

Dallas has lost its last two at home to Houston, including a 112-102 loss on Oct. 30 that featured Yao and Ron Artest combining for 59 points. Head to the Bodog Sportsbook for the best in NBA betting.
