NBA Basketball Odds: Indiana at Philadelphia

The Indiana Pacers have a lot more talent than you’d expect from a 19-30 team. That’s one of the reasons they’re in the black at 26-22-1 ATS. The question is getting everyone on the same page. That’s hard to do when stars like point guard T.J. Ford and swingman Mike Dunleavy miss time to injury. The Pacers are 7-8 SU and 10-5 ATS since Dunleavy’s season debut.

The Philadelphia 76ers (23-24 SU, 23-23-1 ATS) have had their own chemistry challenges with the arrival of power forward Elton Brand. Big things were expected in Philly when Brand signed as a free agent to join a corps of solid young talent; the Sixers are 3-3 SU and 2-3-1 ATS since Brand’s return from a dislocated right shoulder. The big man is still less than 100 percent, but is expected to play Thursday against the visiting Pacers.
