With less than a week to go until teams tip off for real, the New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks square off once more tonight at MSG.

The Nets (+10000 longshots to win the title) are 2-4 in exhibition play so far and are coming off a one-sided 118-100 loss to the Sixers on Wednesday. Philly hit 14 three-pointers in the victory, exposing one of the many weaknesses of the Nets. They don't have much time to shore up the D as the Nets open the season next Wednesday at Washington.

The Knicks are 3-3 and will finish up their preseason tonight. The Knicks were averaging 109.6 points in the preseason and had won two in a row but their offense that had looked so fluid was bogged down against the Celtics on Tuesday in a 101-90 loss.
