NBA Betting: Bulls Upset Pistons

Two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference dueled at the United Center as the Chicago Bulls defeated the Detroit Pistons, 97-93, on Thursday night for their first win.
Tyrus Thomas put up a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds for Chicago. Luol Deng had 17 points and Ben Gordon had 16.
The Bulls (1-4) were underdogs against the point spread, which favored Detroit by 1.5.
Rasheed Wallace had 36 points to lead the Pistons. The betting total was over 183.
In other early NBA action on Thursday:
New Jersey 87, Washington 85: The Nets got 25 points from Richard Jefferson, but the Wizards beat the spread, which favored New Jersey by six.
