In the 2006-07 season the "Baby Bulls" became men. They were able to sweep Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat on route to their first series victory since Michael Jordan was donning red and black. With such an impressive feat for a young team there was no doubt the Bulls would start off the 2007-08 season ready to contend in the improved Central division. So far, the opposite has happened.
The Bulls are a pathetic 0-4 to start their season, and have an offense that ranks 29th in the NBA.
"There's no life, there's no spirit, they're a lethargic team right now," NBA legend Bill Walton said on ESPN series NBA Shootaround. "And Ben Wallace is giving them nothing, we're seeing advanced stages of rigor mortis from Wallace here."
What could be the cure for lethargy and rigor mortis? A win over east-coast bully – the Detroit Pistons.
As usual, the Pistons have had steady production from their offense and defense and have started the year 3-0 and 2-1 against the spread.
Watch "Big" Ben Wallace face his old team as the Bulls face the Pistons at 8:00 p.m. ET on TNT.
