NBA Betting: Making Christmas Cake

Open the presents, sing "White Christmas" a couple of times and then turn on the TV, bitches! It's Christmas Day, and that means one thing: NBA betting action.
At 2:30 p.m. EST, it's back-to-back-to-back ballin' starting with Miami at Cleveland, followed by Phoenix at L.A. and Seattle at Portland.
It sure sounded like a good schedule before the season started: Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant and rookies Kevin Durant and Greg Oden live under your Christmas lights. A funny thing happened on the way to Commissioner David Stern's personal Candy Cane Lane, though. Miami is completely shitting the bed, and the NBA's No. 1 draft pick Oden is down for the season with microfracture surgery.
Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Even with Wade standing on his head in the last five games (30.2 points, 7.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds), Miami can't win. The Heat have consistently blown fourth quarter leads and currently sit near the bottom of the league at 8-19. Although the Heat are a much better road team against the spread, it is hard to see how they'll win this game straight up. But hey, that's why Grandma gave you the Christmas money.
The Cavs themselves are just 12-16, but five of those games were without superstar James, all of which they lost. Cleveland is 3-4 since James' return. Have a close look at the spread as Cleveland is just 11-17 ATS this season and only 4-9 at home. If you're just looking at averages, the over/ under is probably a good bet. The teams are 31-23-1 collectively OU thus far this season.
