While the Eastern Conference has its top three squads relatively set in stone, every couple of weeks a new West Coast team heats up and shares the top spot with the Los Angeles Lakers.

This week, it’s the New Orleans Hornets.

With the Houston Rockets coming back to Earth after blasting off from February to mid-March, the Hornets have stepped in as the flavor of the month. They’ve gone 11-4 straight up and against the spread in their last 15 games.
