With the San Antonio Spurs dominating the Cleveland Cavaliers in every way in the NBA Finals, we thought it'd be cool to list our top five most one-sided series ever:

5. 1983 NBA Finals – Philadelphia 76ers sweep the Los Angeles Lakers

The L.A. Lakers had "Showtime" at full strength with Magic Johnson at point, Jamaal "Silk" Wilkes on the wing and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the middle. But the combo of Moses Malone, Julius Erving, and Andrew Toney shut "Showtime" down, beating L.A. four straight by an average of 10 points to win the NBA Championship.

4. 1989 NBA Finals – Detroit Pistons sweep the Los Angeles Lakers

After losing to the Lakers in '88, the Pistons destroyed Los Angeles. However, they we're decimated long before the final game of the Finals. With Byron Scott suffering a hamstring injury in practice before Game 1, and Magic Johnson pulling a hamstring during Game 2, the Lakers were swept by an average of 6.8 points.

3. 1991 NBA Finals – Chicago Bulls take the hold of the league and the NBA Championship

Magic Johnson once said that Michael Jordan and the Bulls didn't win the '91 NBA Championship, they took it. After the Lakers beat them in Game 1, Jordan and his Bulls bulldozed the Lakers four games to one by an average of 10.25 points.

2. 1995 NBA Finals – Houston Rockets sweep the young Magic

Shaquille O'neal said it was the first time in a while he actually cried. Boasting the best record in the Eastern Conference the Magic were poised for their first championship as they faced the sixth-seeded Houston Rockets. But they lacked experience and it showed when the aging Rockets swept the Magic four games to none by an average of seven points.

1. 2003 NBA Finals – The L.A. Lakers versus some pick-up squad from the East.

Ugh, this series was just wrong. You have Shaquille O'neal in his prime, Kobe Bryant realizing his individual, jordan-like goals versus poor, poor Jason Kidd and a bunch of has-beens. When asked how to stop Shaq Jason Kidd replied "slash his tires so he won't show up to the game". But be didn't. And the Lakers rolled in four by an average of 9.25. And the worst part is, the Nets did better than many expected.

NBA Finals odds are already up in the Bodog Sportsbook!
