The Wolfpack shot 54.1 percent from the floor, and made 18 of 28 attempts in the second half even as North Carolina raced away with the win. That kind of defense may work now, but if the Heels want to win it all they know they have to tighten things up.

Maryland is not a threat to win the ACC title, but the Tar Heels can’t take them lightly looking ahead to Virginia Tech and Duke.

The Terrapins could be motivated by the fact that to finish at .500 in the ACC and keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive they have to win at least three of their remaining conference games. The Tar Heels are only 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Maryland. Get your NCAA basketball betting in the Bodog Sportsbook.
