The Connecticut Huskies (29-4 SU, 13-14 ATS) have drawn the Purdue Boilermakers (27-9 SU, 15-17 ATS) in the Sweet 16 portion of the NCAA Tournament. The Boilers are about as blue-collar as you would expect a Big Ten club to be; UConn does have a nice transition game, but this team’s bread and butter is on defense. Bodies will hit the floor in Glendale.

The Huskies are well known for their inside game, and rightly so. But there’s also the very dangerous A.J. Price at point guard hitting 42.2 percent of his 3-point attempts. And Price doesn’t skimp, either, firing away six times per game from behind the arc. Purdue’s outstanding defense is better suited for the inside game, and the slower Boilers should have trouble keeping up with Price in transition. It’s enough to make UConn a full 7-point chalk.
