Ty Lawson scored 19 points and Danny Green added 18 to lead the top-seeded Tar Heels to a 72-60 win over Griffin and the Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday in the South Regional final.

The Tar Heels covered the 7-point spread, while the final score played under the day's posted total of 164. North Carolina has now won three in a row against the spread.

The Tar Heels advanced to the Final Four for the second straight year and will play the Villanova Wildcats in the national semifinals.

This will be the Tar Heels’ ninth Final Four in 19 seasons and it will be played at Detroit’s Ford Field, where they routed Michigan State 98-63 in December.

North Carolina is the favorite to win the championship and are listed at +200.
