The mean old Elizabeth Lambert is finally seeing some consequences for her crappy behavior. New Mexico's coach Kit Vela announced that the bully player has been suspended indefinitely.

"Liz is a quality student-athlete, but in this instance, her actions clearly crossed the line of fair play and good sportsmanship," Vela said.

If you haven't seen the footage yet, watch the video to see New Mexico's Lambert punch and hair pull her way through a game against Brigham Young University during the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship.

Lambert's violent plays went unnoticed by referees until 77 minutes into the game, when Lambert was the only player to be penalized in the game, earning a yellow card for colliding with a BYU player.

"My actions were uncalled for," Lambert said in a statement released by New Mexico. "I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation."

I'm glad she got suspended – her behavior was ridiculous. It's surprising that the officials let her stay in the game so long without getting penalties, at least. What's going on with all the sports violence lately, anyway? Out of control… http://www.newsy.com/videos/soccer_violence_from_head_butts_to_hair_pulls

You have to admit, that hairpull was beautiful.
    She went down pretty nicely
